Succinonitrile is a colorless and odorless wax; soluble in acetone, chloroform, dioxane, slightly soluble in water, ethanol, ether, carbon disulfide and benzene.
Application:
As solvent to extract aromatic hydrocarbon from petroleum fraction; Lustering in nickeling; Raw material in producing Quinacridone pigment(which widely used for painting of cars and galvanizing steel sheets,color printing and colorant of plastics); also used in producing Nylon(Polyamide) and Pharmaceutical Intermediates, and also used in electronic, Ion battery and organic synthesis etc.
Storage:
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The package is sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants, reducing agents, acids, and edible chemicals, and avoid mixed storage. Equipped with the appropriate variety and quantity of fire equipment. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain the leakage.
