Physical and Chemical Properties:
El aluminato de sodio es un inorganic sustancia química que se utiliza como fuente eficaz de aluminium hydroxide for many industrial and technical applications. Pure sodium aluminate (anhydrous) is a white crystalline sólido que tiene una fórmula dada como NaAlO2, NaAl(OH)4 (hydrated),Na2O·Al2O3, or Na2Alabama2O4. Commercial sodium aluminate is available as a solution or a solid.

Application:

  1. In water treatment it is used as an adjunct to water softening systems, as a coagulant aid to improve flocculation, and for removingdissolved silicayphosphates.
  2. In construction technology, sodium aluminate is employed to accelerate the solidification of concrete, mainly when working during frost.
  3. El aluminato de sodio también se utiliza en el paper industry, for fire brickproduction, alumina production and so forth.
  4. Las soluciones de aluminato de sodio son intermediarios en la producción dezeolites.
