Physical and Chemical Properties
It is a slightly brittle metal at room temperature and has a shiny-greyish appearance when oxidation is removed. Zinc is a fair conductor of electricity. For a metal, zinc has relatively low melting (419.5 °C) and boiling point (907 °C).
Application
1.Zinc is most commonly used as an anti-corrosion agent,and galvanization (coating of iron or steel) is the most familiar form.

Storage
The storage temperature should be below 50°C and the relative humidity should be below 70% to avoid oxidation or spontaneous combustion caused by high temperature or humidity. The storage area should be well ventilated and away from fire, heat sources and oxidants (such as acids and alkalis).
