Physical and Chemical Properties

Manganese acetate is an organic compound with the chemical formula (CH3COO) 2Mn, a light red transparent monoclinic crystal, soluble in water and alcohol.

Application

a.Manganese acetate is used as a catalyst for the production of polyester chips and PTA.

b.Manganese acetate is also used in various reactions such as oxidation, synthesis and polymerization of ethylene esters.

c.Manganese acetate can also be used in leather tanning and dishwashing, as well as as as as a drying agent for paints and coatings, a mordant for printing and dyeing, and a feed additive.

d.Manganese acetate is used in the production of industrial acetic acid.
