Dichloroethane can refer to either of two isomeric organochlorides with the molecular formula C2H4Cl2

Application

  1. Extractant used for boron analysis, oil and tobacco extraction. It is also used in the manufacturing of acetylcellulose.
  2. Used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent and a standard substance for chromatographic analysis.
  3. Used for extraction of fats and oils, and for organic synthesis.
  4. Used as detergents, extractants, pesticides, and metal degreasing agents.
  5. Used as a solvent for waxes, fats, rubber, etc., and as a grain insecticide.

STORAGE

Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from sparks and heat sources. The temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 30 ℃. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, alkalis, and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed for storage. Using explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities.
