Application
1. Textile Fiber Sector (65% share): As the core monomer for synthetic nylon 6 fibers, it is used to produce apparel fabrics, industrial textiles, fishing nets, and other applications. It remains a critical imported raw material following the relocation of Southeast Asia’s textile industry.
2. Engineering Plastics Sector (20% share): Used to produce nylon 6 engineering plastics for automotive lightweight components, electronic enclosures, and mechanical gears, aligning with European and American automakers’ emissions reduction requirements.
3. Coatings/Adhesives Sector (10% share): Synthesizes polyamide resins for high-end anti-corrosion coatings and hot-melt adhesives, with robust procurement demand from Middle Eastern infrastructure projects.
4. Other Sectors (5% share): Serves as pharmaceutical intermediates or moisturizing agents in premium Japanese and Korean cosmetics, with custom orders commanding 15%-20% premium pricing.
Storage
1. Storage Environment: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse with temperature controlled below 25°C and relative humidity ≤60%. Keep away from open flames and heat sources (minimum distance ≥30m).
2. Packaging Protection: Maintain intact packaging seals (vacuum bags/sealed drums) to prevent direct air contact and moisture absorption causing caking. Strictly prohibit outdoor stacking or placement near damp walls.
3. Storage Restrictions: Do not store with oxidizers, strong acids, strong alkalis, or other incompatible chemicals. Store in separate zones with clear isolation signage. Keep away from food, beverages, and other consumer goods.
